The 2nd hackathon of the ETSInitiative in Tampa, FL, USA, is just 5 weeks away. The preliminary agenda and a list of potential use-cases for our developers have now been announced on the hackathon’s webpage. Register now to secure a spot to this event (limited seats available)!
The venue hotel (Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa, located close to the Tampa Convention Center) registration deadline offering our special rate is fast apporaching on October 3rd. Although the event is hybrid to also welcome remote attendance for those that may not be able to travel to Tampa, our previous hackathon has been a highly rewarding experience particularly for in-person participants, so we greatly encourage in-person registration.
Don’t miss the chance to become one of the first in our community to contribute to the development of PETSIRD, ETSI’s open-source vendor-agnostic PET raw data format standard. This is a great opportunity to work with other international experts in academia and industry to promote the standardized, democratized and vendor-independent usage of high-fidelity open raw data in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging research community.

Important Note: Those that have pre-registered for the hackathon will also need to complete the formal registration in the hackathon’s webpage. Don’t hesitate to contact Kris Thielemans or Nicolas Karakatsanis to suggest more PETSIRD use-cases or for any further questions.
