Registration opened for the 2nd ETSI Hackathon at Tampa, FL, USA (3-4th Nov. 2024)

We are thrilled to announce the 2nd ETSI Hackathon, taking place in Tampa, FL, USA, on November 3-4, 2024. Following the success of our inaugural hackathon in Vancouver, we are excited to continue driving forward the development of the PETSIRD standard data elements and use cases. This event will focus on incorporating the latest features of the standard introduced over the past year.

The primary goal of this hackathon is to expand upon the use cases developed during last year’s event, showcasing new implementations and advancing validated code libraries with the help of the Yardl code building library. Participants will collaborate in teams, working together to develop innovative computer programs to further the PET listmode standardization effort.

We invite computer programmers with an open mind and enthusiasm for problem-solving to join us in tackling these challenges. The event promises to be both productive and fun, as we work together to push the boundaries of PETSIRD standardization.  Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute, learn, connect with peers in the field, and be a part of building the future field of PET. We look forward to seeing you in Tampa!

Location: The event will take place at the Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa Hotel.

Time: November 3-4, 2024 (Sunday & Monday right after 2024 IEEE NSS/MIC).
